Turkish Market and food
Just came back from the turkish market. I bought so muuccch fooooodd! For just 6 euros.
some greek rice-in-wine leaves thingie. 2kg of cherries. 10 plums. 2 punnets of strawberries and a small packet of olives in garlic. And now, i have taken over 2 shelves of the fridge.
Nobody steal my cherries or else.. they were 2kg for 3 euros. and they are really sweet too!
hah. watched the brasil croatia game last night. was awesome. way better than the french game. watched the french game with my french friends. they kept expletive-ing throughout the game though. the only one i knew was merde! ok. enough of football. although, will be watching the germany poland game later on tonight.
ok, i know everybody thinks i'm having fun all the time and not studying. ha, don't deny it, i know most people think that. AND when i say everybody, i really mean everybody. Well, i'll have you know that i do study. And i still go to incomprehensible german lectures and i pass up my assignments, which i do and complete all by myself (something close to an impossibility in NUS). And i go for project meetings. blah blah. Its just that i don't blog about school like 99% of the time. like how fun could it get? SO, DO NOT CHIDE ME, OK? Its quite tough sometimes having to learn stuff in german and complete assignments which are counted towards my final grade and having to pull my weight in projects and stuff. hmm, enough said on this subject.
on a lighter note, i feel almost as if i'm back in singapore here. the heat, the constant need for juice. the heat. the walking in the heat. the studying in the heat. the sleeping in the heat. the sweating. oh, and the blistering heat. if only they had like laksa, mee siam and char kway teow here, i could almost be convinced that i'm back in singapore.
oh, and guess what i did a few days ago when i was bored out of my mind waiting for one of my friends to turn up... A food list!

ya, u get the picture. All i need are the chillis - spicer the better. And bring on the seafood! Well, basically all the food that you can find in Singapore, just take away all the breads, salads, pastas, pizzas, burgers, overly sweet cakes and pastries. Oh and did i mention kababs - arghh, enough of those already. ooh and sausages, too much sausages. i swear, like sausages, bread, pig kunckles and beer are the german national foods or something. and i won't want to eat those in quite a while once i go back to singapore.
its disgusting, i'm having a stomachache after typing this list. obviously, i'm not going to eat through this list immediately after i go back. i'll complete this by christmas, i reckon. an easily acheivable goal i say!
okok. gonna study now. enough time wasted.
