im back (again)

ok. yes, i'm back from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Was great. Edinburgh was soooo pretty. Definitely in my top 5 for most beautiful European cities. but then again, i haven't been to many European cities. gah.

anyway, sorry for being MIA. had a lot of work to do and bad news is that i'm sick. but i'm feeling better today. have to work on my presentation for tmr (yes, i have lots of presentations this sem) in german, no less. but i'll cross my fingers real hard on that (plus toes and other cross-able appendices too). AND WORLD CUP is starting tmr! so, fun times over here in Berlin.

but before i go, here's some lines from a book i picked up in Glasgow. (it was going for 99p! that's like SGD$3. i didn't go crazy in the bookstore though - just thinking about my (overweight) luggage was enough to make me get away (relatively) unscathed with only 2 books!)

An easy read, one of those screw-ball romances. Took me like the plane ride to finish the book. Has some pretty good lines though.
