Weekend

As usual, school and weekend activities have consumed all my time. And its monday. Again! How on earth does the time pass so fast?!?

Saturday was one of the guy's birthday. Rune. cool name huh? He turned 25. Anyway, according to danish tradition, we had morning schnapps, with breakfast (at 1pm, don't ask why). Schnapps are like shots (=alcohol). And it was really nice, eating bread, cheese, jam, chocolate, cake, etc. Sitting there with the sun coming through the full-windows. Then we decided to go play soccer! And it ended up drizzling. So we started playing it in our "living room" of-sorts. The guys ended up kicking the ball into bottles. After too much clanging, they decided it was a little too dangerous and the girls started playing. Then we got bored and sleepy. And we watched TEAM AMERICA. really really funny! the soundtrack is hilarious. Then, it was dinner time and after that we went out for some beers and then we all went straight home to bed. We were all exhausted. (And we wonder why?)

Next day, woke up bright and early to go buy a bike. but was unsuccessful as the bicycles were all way beyond my budget. THEN, we went to Baumbluetenfest at Wander an der Havel. really nice spring festival with like food stands and what not on every street corner. And lots and lots and lots of fruitwine. 3 bottles for 10euros. Really yummy. There was music in the streets and we started dancing and all that. There were grassy hills overlooking a lake and we sat there for the better part of the afternoon. By the time we got back it was 9.30pm and we still had not had dinner. Went out for indian buffet that cost just 5.90euros and we were all exhausted by the time dinner was over. (And we wonder why again?)

And today is monday. the school week has started again.
