Paris, the city of lights
ok. had a totally slack weekend in Paris. I did not do an ounce of anything touristy. except for taking a shiok banana smoothie on the champs elysees, along with the rest of the tourists taking dinner/coffee. And a photo with the arc de triomphe.
and i got a haircut. yay. expensive though. haircut in paris. in a salon where the hairdresser had assistants and they serve you coffee.
ate a lot though. chinese food, japanese food and crepes -in this cool ski-chalet-like retaurant! Picnic-ed by the lake in a really big park, east of paris, near the Rolland Garros stadium. (i see someone's eyes getting bigger at the aforementioned name!) And went shopping, only a little. relaxing weekend hanging out with EP and JM.

ok...coming back to berlin was a little depressing though. going back to school after the mini-vacation. but today, for the first time in Werkstofftechnik, i understood more than 50% of the lecture. (that is, without reviewing lecture material beforehand- i was in Paris mah!) haha.
have a million things to do. do proj slides, go supermarketing, do my Residence permit now that my visa is FINALLY sorted out, go to some office to settle some school admin stuff, buy my bicycle, do homework and arrange stuff for my next trip! half the things probably wont be done by the end of the week. shall strive very hard to complete all these tasks though. i will and i shall. hah. good thing is that the kitchen is in a very nice condition.
pictures of paris coming up!
