off to Praha
ok, will be going to the bus station in about 5 hours time.
And in this 5 hours, i have to go for dinner with some friends, pack my bag, make sandwiches with the remaining of my bread and food, buy shampoo and clean my room. And blog.
Easy peasy, i say.
ok, Salsa 2 nights ago was brilliant. never salsa-ed before. went with some Chileans and boy, Can. They. Dance. The guys were really nice and they taught me! Man, the club was incredible. there were like so many amazing dancers and Salsa Fever was in the air I say. And the music was unbelievable. thank goodness i have dance background and i caught on immediately and they were really impressed i think. (haha, quiet(compared to the wild latin girls) little chinese girl can dance huh- and ya, i'm little here).
booked my paris flight. will be going on the 12-15 may. yay! looking forward to that.
will be going to zurich in the beginning of june too. and freiburg (beautiful south Germany countryside) which is 2 hours from zurich.
other plans include greece, spain, austria and as far as the budget accomodates.
and maybe amsterdam, warsaw, copenhagen- if the train tickets are less than 20euros.
and munich, dresden, hamburg, leipzig.
gah. heh. drooling with envy yet?
And i have concluded one of my modules! And i did well for it! yay. i have 4 more modules for the semester!
German (german 3),
Materials Engrg (fund of mat. engrg),
Biomaterials (biomaterials engrg),
Quality Mangmt (some Industrial Sys Engrg level 5000 module when i map it back, yikes).
i have a 3 day school week. Tues, Wed and Fri! But they are really long days. And for one of the days i start at 8am.
But it's 3 days nonetheless. slack huh? but i will prob have extra lab/tut which i will schedule on thurs.
-----------------------
here, i'm really unique and diff and i stick out like a sore thumb. sometimes, it's nice, but sometimes i would really like to fit in. i hang out with Greeks a lot. (as i mentioned earlier) and they speak Greek almost all the time. Otherwise, with the Chileans, Spanish and Brazilians, its Spanish/Portuguese almost all the time too. Otherwise, with the Belgians and French, its French. hah. but its good in the sense that i'm starting to understand their language.
once, in the u-bahn (mrt), one of my greek friends told another one to move so that he could sit. but she didn't hear and i did. And i moved. because i understood what he said. strangely.
another time in class, during some group discussion thingie, they lasped into spanish and one asked the other a question and i answered. coolness huh?
haha, i'm becoming a linguist.
---------------------
Languages I hear often:
1. German, English
2. Greek
3. Spanish/Portuguese
4. French
5. Chinese
6. Danish
I can say cheers (gan bei) in all these languages.
ok, got to go. 4.5 hours left.
